    Summary

Enjolras is a tenor whom Grantaire quite literally runs into. Cosette Thenardier is a lyric soprano who spends too much time on fire escapes kissing boys who taste like ashes and watching boys straight out of faery tales. Jehan works in a flower shop and looks up from his book one day to see Courfeyrac standing behind the roses. Eponine Fauchelevent’s an English student who goes into a book store to replace her copy of Paradise Lost after she’s misplaced hers only to find a beautiful boy with a pair of glasses holding it in his hands, trying to find its owner. Feuilly's a stage hand who might be in a little over zir head with a certain bass. Musichetta is a coloratura teaching voice lessons while making arrangements to start auditioning in the city, Bossuet is the cyclist who rides into a parked car, and Joly is the intern who checks him for a concussion.

    Summary

Marius, looking chastised but sad, says, “Is there nothing then for romance, Enjolras? It seems a strange emotion to be struck with, distracting as a fever, if it means nothing.”

It is Grantaire who answers first. “Nothing means anything, Marius,” says the cynic. “Yet who would ever die for his country if he did not love some person who lived within it?”

Fill for the Les Miserables kink meme. In which Enjolras should have considered what sort of consequences he might face for his actions.
