Summary
Sometimes Charles likes it best when he is alone, when he doesn’t have to keep up a façade for polite society and can just be himself. So many people believe in the stereotypes: that subs are quiet and polite and should keep their heads down and do as their doms tell them, or that (and this really makes him angry) any dom can order subs about, like sexual preferences define the whole of a person and not just what they like in the bedroom.
