Actually, she found it very funny, the fact that Stiles was the only one able to get something out of her older brother. He was a persistent little kid trying to move under the wire. And Laura loved him for it, she loved him because even a single small fight with her brother, would show that they cared more than anyone for each other.
It would show that what they were doing was all a façade so they could actually talk to each other, so they could actually get intimate.
