Summary
Tortuga was both better and worse than the stories. There was filth and violence and even pirates, yes. There were also bright colors and laughing voices, interesting items for purchase and information to be gained. Here, the legal rubbed shoulders with the quasi-legal and the downright criminal in one huge, felonious sprawl of ‘live and let live’.
Or at least ‘always remember to loot the corpse’.

Summary
It's been six years since he sailed away, and he just made Halifax yesterday. Now the last of Barrett's privateers is out for revenge against all those whose greed or negligence wrecked the Antelope, and with it his life. But things are not entirely what he expected. There's a mystery to be solved, a voyage to be taken, and perhaps even a shot at something resembling a happy ending.
