Though he knew he shouldn't be playing out so late, but the little boy was just too curious for his own good. Stiles was a trouble maker ever since he was old enough to talk, and that all started when he was almost two years old.
It was all because of a rumor going around, that there was a large pack of wolves residing in the woods that surrounded the small village. And Stiles, that never seen a wolf before, wanted to find this pack for himself. He ignored his father that warned to not go out at night and go searching for these wild beasts.

A twig snaps, and then Stiles hears breathing and the rustle of leaves. He strains to get a better glimpse into the darkness, but it’s pointless. There’s nothing but a black void.
It's Stiles' senior year, and he's trying to concentrate on normal things - like the lacrosse championship, spring break, prom, graduation (and definitely not Derek) - when he starts having nightmares and waking up in the middle of nowhere. Oh yeah, and he's being haunted by a hag. Great.

Animal attacks have started up again in Beacon Hills, California, and Stiles knows it's not the Hale Pack. The Argents would like to hope it's not the Hale Pack, but Chris Argent can't find anything, so he calls an old friend who sends in some reinforcements and now it falls to Stiles to run interference between the Pack and the Hunters, keep Derek in line and Scott from silently worrying himself to death over Allison, and somehow find time to get his calculus homework done.

This was meant to be crack but it turned into a story despite my best efforts.
Everyone is concerned about the identity of "New Guy" (Moon Moon). Scott is concerned about his mother getting along really well with widowed-and-therefore-single Chris Argent. Chris Argent is concerned about dinner and fatherhood. Scott's mother is just concerned. Derek is bad at relationships, Isaac is good at friendship, and Stiles gets his heart broken and his home broken into before the story's end.
And someone turns into a werewolf ... or at least, a weresomething.

Okay so, Stiles really thought the camping trip was going to be a blast. He really did. Then Derek reminded him that no, this isn't just a camping trip where he's going to let underage kids get drunk, and yes, this was still a part of pack training so everyone needed to participate and listen to the Alpha. When Derek told him he wasn't Pack because he was human, he didn't even try and bring Allison into it, who was in fact a human but also a huntress. A very dangerous one. She was also Scott's girlfriend, therefore Pack by association. His connection was too Scott and evidently, being just a best friend wasn't concrete enough to be brought into the fold.

Stiles observes pausing mid-changing to glance at his best friend. It sounds like a statement, his voice flat. Still, Scott recognises that tone, recognises Stiles' uneasiness in his shifting stance, his flickering gaze. Recognises the way Stiles wets his lips and sucks them in to keep the words from spilling; an unexpected mesmerising display. Scott feels as if his vision is zooming in but he still manages to raise his brows accompanied by slightly widened eyes in response to Stiles' declaration. Or in response to how he cannot rip his gaze off that spit shiny mouth, he wouldn't know.
