Summary
When Jane idly wishes for some unconventional input as she works to open the Einstein-Rosen bridge, she neither quite expects nor appreciates the visit she receives. Things only go from bad to worse when Thor does arrive back. Not only is she about to discover the awkward logistics of a relationship born of less than a week of falling in love, Loki is determined to ensure that if he is going to suffer, then so must everybody else.
Post-movie AU that deals with the troubled relationship between Thor, Loki, and Jane in amongst the mess caused by SHIELD arsing about with the cosmic cube; it started out as a short story about Loki being a creeper, and has since exploded all over my brain. It's sort of like the way you ask for a nice normal four-legged horse and somehow end up receiving one with eight legs and Tony Stark on its back, wearing a tin hat and brandishing a plastic sword. ...may god have mercy on my soul.
Also, I'm a comic-virgin movie-n00b. I'm definitely not worthy to wield the power of this hammer, but lookit me try.

Summary
This is sort of a holding place for missing scenes from the much longer fic The Uncertainty Principle, being that said fic is entirely from Jane's POV and there are many and myriad things going on in the background of that fic that she simply could never see for herself.
At this stage there's just the one missing scene, taking place between chapters seven and eight, but I suspect more will come. In fact, if you were wondering what really happened at some stage or another -- whether it's Thor and Tony's bromantic training sessions, Darcy and Coulson arguing over who would win in an epic smackdown between Voldemort and Jadis, Loki reprogramming JARVIS to talk like GLaDOS, drunken!Tony getting an entire SHIELD installment to LARP Oregon Trail with him, or Clint reading the mission updates from New York and laughing his arse off -- you can always comment and ask me if the words are there. Chances are, I can pull them out of my head for your amusement. ^_~
