"Protection," Erik argued.
They frowned at each other for a moment.
"Against what? Innocent people who want to talk to me?" Charles glares at Erik. He's about to pull his Jedi mind trick and erase the thought from Erik's mind that he needs a bodyguard, but Charles promised he'd never to that. Damn promises.
Erik looks back to his book, "They're not innocent."
