Summary
Follow an elf named Athadra as she climbs out of the long shadow cast by the Circle Tower into a fight she never asked for, whose conclusion is far from forgone. She will know passion, betrayal, anger, terror, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.
Not a scene-by-scene reconstruction; there are several interesting deviations from the standard Origins game throughout. Trigger warning for non-consensual references in several places. Most chapters are 'Teen and Up,' especially for the first half of the story, but several later chapters involve graphic depictions of violence and some very sexual situations. Some of the more extreme chapters will eventually get links to their 'Teen and Up' equivalents at fanfiction.net, where the story is being mirrored. Arlathan was no more, fallen into the depths below after the might of Tevinter swept over it in a mighty wave. Yet the greatest of events leave ripples, and even the smallest of ripples can form into a tidal wave which will change the course of events on Thedas… forever.
Long after the decline of the Tevinter Imperium, the ripples begin anew in Val Royeaux when the arrival of two women attract the attention of the now-retired Bard Ives Durante. His curiosity sparks a chain of events that will lead from the Grey Warden’s Keep all the way to the Great Hall of Arlathan. Heroes and villains, gods and demons: all will be drawn in, and none shall emerge unscathed. From the bards of Orlais to the highest courts of Ferelden, the ripples will pull even the most powerful into their inexorable wake.
Join Ives and his companions as they begin their search to find a cure for the taint, and discover that no less than the future of Thedas itself is at stake.

Six months after the events of DA:II, the Champion of Kirkwall and his companion, the Tevinter Fugitive, are exploring the north coast of Ferelden. Magister Danarius, having foiled Fenris' attempts to kill him in Act II, returns to reclaim his property and captures Hawke instead.
Fenris, with unexpected and largely unwanted aid from Anders and the help of the Hero of Ferelden, journeys through the chaotic world of Thedas to rescue his beloved. After numerous random encounters--with dangerous foes, new and old allies, and powerful magic--and after the startling discovery that their rivalry hid a much deeper connection, Fenris and Anders free Hawke from Danarius' clutches.
However, Danarius did not sit idly by with the Champion in his hands. After his experimentation, a far greater evil rises to burn across the face of Thedas. Fenris and Anders are called on to survive unthinkable horrors and fight that which they once sought to save, to preserve the Maker's world itself.
