"I think that's Death Shirou," Fuu-chan murmured. So much for lackeys. Hikaru had fought some tough pirates in her days, but the only ninja she'd heard could win against the Pirate King's council without an army to back him up was Kurogane. If she, Umi-chan, and Fuu-chan did their job right, of course, those pirates would never know ninja had been here at all, and if they did have to fight, the three of them were about a match for an army. They'd make it.
A full-scale pirate rebellion in Sorata's home fleet finds the Dragon of Heaven in a sea battle, Kamui in a race with an elite ninja team for a legendary artifact, and Fai... on a date?
("Fifteen Mokona on a Dead Man's Chest" is comprised of stand-alone short stories that can be read independently, without going back for earlier installments. As the stories go on, however, they will consistently tie together for those who prefer to start at the beginning.)

I am ridiculously in love with this story and everyone's fucked up states. (Specifically fucked up Kamui and Fuuma's even more fucked up and admirable devotion to the guy.) (Plus, there're only a couple of other things that could compete with fucked up musical genius Fai singing and performing on stage in tight pants, okay.)

Summary
The Decagram is basically an attempt to take the canon of Tokyo Babylon and X/1999 as it was given up to X/1999 vol. 18.5 and return it subsequently to the principle of yin and yang rather than the Christian fatalism prevalent in the later books of X.
The focus is firmly on Sakurazuka Seishiro and Sumeragi Subaru, their involvement in bringing these changes to pass, and the resulting relationship between them. However, other canon characters and the history of the clans of Sumeragi and Sakurazuka are explored as well.
