Remember the part where the Witch came to demand Edmund and it was revealed that if he was not handed over to her the Deep Magic would destroy the world killing Edmund anyway, along with everyone else? Remember the part where Susan asked if there was anything that could be done against that magic, which demanded the execution of a nine year old boy? Remember when Aslan responded by asking, "Work against the Emperor's Magic?" in a way that made it so no one ever asked him that question again?
What if, instead of asking the question in a way to shut down conversation he'd asked it in a way that started conversation.
This is one possible outcome of such a thing.
