honestly i started this partially as a joke one day when i was at home sick and it ended up being way more fun than i thought it would be so here it is. it's not done yet.
you can ignore the pretentious-ass title. i guess it's thematically relevant though

It's over two and a half years into the meteor's journey, and things are far from simple for its inhabitants. Conflict is rife, catastrophe is inevitable and cabin fever is getting to them all.

An ongoing fic depicting life aboard the meteor, taking place from what would be the first to the fourth of December, 2011.
Primarily a sort of gap-fill fic to see how things change so much during the third year of their journey. Though it may be diverging very slightly from canon as of Act 6 Intermission 5, elements of the ongoing story will end up being used in this.
(John and Jade are in the character list due to their appearances via pesterlog.)

Summary
Trolls have some weird priorities. They can’t bring themselves to invent conditioner, but they have automatic manicure kits and gossip about which blood caste produces the best in claw hygiene. Dave has never really given much thought to the state of his nails. His time is better spent memorizing lame movie quotes and actively *not* flirting with the grumpy troll version of the Second Coming.
On an unrelated note, being a teenage boy is hard. Literally. (Insert dick joke here.) It’s hard and having a hot sister doesn’t help in the slightest. Not that Dave finds his sister attractive in any way.

When Vriska Serket finds herself back at school after a disastrous event that had her suspended eight weeks ago, in time for the beginning of October, spookiest month of the year. She finds herself strong armed into a literary club, desperate enough for members that it's re branded itself into the mystery club in hopes of attracting a new member and averting the "Six members by new semester or Bust" rule enacted by the school. Also, there's this guy on the mystery club, Egbert or something, she thinks he's kind of okay.
