    Summary

Holmes and Moriarty start becoming a little more political, and help an anaesthetist accused of mis-using chloroform along the way. In between, they dabble in a little callous experimentation on others. As this is narrated by Moriarty, there is little or no moralising: violence/rape/torture are pretty much normal to him.

    Summary

Summer 1884. Holmes is getting more and more cases, although not really any closer to Moriarty, much to Moriarty’s annoyance! Moriarty narrates their investigation into a presumed suicide in a man who is being blackmailed for his sexuality, which seems to have some relevance to their own relationship.

This story contains no violence (unlike others in the series).

    Summary

It is not my habit, as it has so often been that of my dear friend Watson, to be compelled to record every minor problem to cross my path. Yet in this peculiar case, I find myself unable to order my own thoughts without committing a full account to paper. It will have to be burned, of course, lest it catch the eye of my brother - or worse, Watson - but perhaps its brief existence will aid me in ascertaining my own mind on these curious events....

    Summary

A dangerous man was on the loose in Natchitoches, the reporters said, for the delicate constitution of a mere woman could conceive of such brutal urges. Yet Lena Corbet knew better. Left diseased and abandoned by her husband, she rid Natchitoches of the prostitutes who brought misery into her home and family. She became a serial killer.

    Summary

Lestrade considers himself an old, broken man, with little hope of finding happiness. Married to his work and divorced from a whore for an ex-wife, he's placed himself into forced exile from polite society, so there is little chance of remarrying. He is alone and left to pass the rest of his life arresting evil doers, protecting London, and running around after the Great Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. That's all that's left for him, isn't there? Not if he follows his heart, that seems to beat again with a flourish when he notices a similar feeling echoed in the eyes of a mousy, clumsy woman by the name of Miss. Molly Hooper. They start a courtship, and only one question remains: Is marriage the outcome? Stay Tuned...

Molly Hooper always thought herself alone, exiled by choice to look after her father and keep the house for him, training to take over her father's coroner practice when he dies. She was on a path straight to spinsterhood, just like her Aunt Evelyn. But when fate sends her love in the form of a silver fox that goes by the title Detective Inspector, will she be able to grasp onto it? Will she fight for it when confronted by the scars life has left on him? What of his family's approval? Only fate knows...

    Summary

Backstory: In the sticky, sultry summer of 1863, Private Dean Winchester fights and hacks his way through the swamps surrounding Vicksburg, Mississippi. War has a way of stripping great men of their brass and he doesn't recognize his brigade commander, General Castiel Novak, while on patrol and barks Winchester attitude at him. He just knows the general will have him put up on charges of insubordination, but little does he know, General Novak notices him for an entirely different purpose. Suddenly promoted to the general's aide-de-camp, the two embark on a secret relationship that opens newly promoted Major Winchester's eyes to an underground society where love is free and expression of love comes in tantalizing forms. But will Major Winchester choose to remain bound to General Novak once the war is over? (This was part of the Destiel Smut Brigade AU Challenge but I decided to put all 3 of my parts in one post for my readers.)

    Summary

Sherlock Holmes and James Moriarty meet as students in Oxford in the early 1880s, as narrated by Moriarty. This series is partly inspired by the comment 'There but for the grace of God goes Sherlock Holmes', and was back story to role play involving Holmes' dark past.

Part of a Holmes universe created by myself and others many years ago, in which Holmes and Moriarty lived together for a number of years before Holmes met Watson. The series has a loose plot following their lives. Holmes is callous to the point of experimenting with some enjoyment with anyone around him (and, as we shall discover, he is also something of a voyeur). Moriarty is openly a violent sadist, and has a particular fascination with blood.

With thanks to Pep, Sage and H, my former partners in crime.

    Summary

In the newcomer’s face Holmes could see the same ennui that was a constant plague against his senses. The man was compelled to come for the same reasons as Sherlock himself. There was no interest, no true meaning behind the night out. Here was a man who was seeking nothing but a way to pass the never ending hours in a constant boring cycle of satisfying his transport and quieting a constantly moving mind.

It was evident in every movement, tilt of his head, lilt of his voice, and the shadow that lay behind his eyes.

Or the time Holmes met Dorian Gray, was thoroughly buggered, and found a way to his doctor.
