Oh my god. This is freaking amazing. I was so sceptical when I saw the summary, but I'm glad I gave it a chance because it's FABULOUS. There were so many moments when I laughed out loud at another line that was pure genius and worthy of Pratchett himself. I LOVE Dean's reactions to the Disc, he's very in-character and so are all the DW characters we know and love, and I loved how they reacted to him as well. Also, she basically included pretty much all my favourite DW characters, even Vimes' ninja butler (*cackles*) and it was AWESOME. I loved how Dean respects Vimes, and is freaked out by Carrot's mojo and calls Stibbons a geek (he really is, and I ♥ him for it), and Angua's description of Carrot's history with Vimes and Vetinari was hilarious. Also, that toilet footnote, oh gods. I love how Granny reacted so strongly when Dean mentioned the angels - I suppose they would have sounded a lot like elves to her - and, after hearing everything he's been through, gave him leave to call her Granny. And oh god, Nanny, I LOVED it when she groped Dean and I love how well he gets along with both of them.
One note though: pretty much everyone who interacts with him more than once seems to really like him or at least grow to accept him, and as much as I love Dean, some adversity would have been nice to avoid the trap of worldhoppers becoming Mary-Sues. Not that I really saw that as an issue here, because Dean remains Dean instead of some super sword-wielding warrior and I loved him so much. And the endnote made me laugh aloud - I never thought that before, but Dean really is a bit like an overgrown Feegle, except with wimmin as well as stealin', drinkin' and fightin'. (Though as for Lancre being a retirement home... Dean would miss the Impala too much, wouldn't he? XD) I still think the Feegle would have been much more disappointed about not actually getting to fight Lucifer and the others though. And that everyone in our world would have reacted a bit more strongly, but I love this fic to bits anyway because of its sheer epic awesomeness.
I never expected SPN and Discworld to go so well together, and only a truly talented author could have pulled that off. She did.
