The guy spat and turned the faucet on. "Take the money. You said you lived in Queens last night? Who the hell lives in Queens."
The fifty seemed gritty in his fingers, but he put it in the back pocket of his ridiculously tight jeans, anyway. That was, like, a five-hour shift at the coffee shop where he worked, Common Grounds, with tips. "And don't call me 'dude,'" the guy continued, turning off the faucet. "I'm not your college bro. It's Derek."

This fic makes me happy in my soul. Would have liked a touch more banter between the boys to justify why Derek suddenly was less of a jerk, but it had messed up Stiles, hurt/comfort, great sex scenes and great side characters, so I'm not complaining.
Lawyer!Derek and student/coffee-guy!Stiles have a drunken hookup, then they meet again and suddenly whoops relationship.

Done roughly two years ago on the 1stclass_kink meme, this was just this giant rambling mating fic I worked on in the comment boxes occasionally. Basically: Charles is an omega.
