Katniss Everdeen, the 71st Victor. The first Volunteer District Twelve had in years, going to the Games for her twin. Her love Peeta Mellark, the baker's son, best friend of her twin Primrose.
This is the story of the two different districts, their Victors, and the rebellion, told in parallels and mirrors.
