Summary
Written for a Norsekink prompt. AU. When no one comes to their rescue on Jötunheimr, Loki is forced to lead Thor, Sif, Hogun, Volstagg and Fandral through his secret paths between worlds. To the surprise of his friends: it's a lot more dangerous than they ever suspected. Loki's either very brave or very crazy to travel the Underworld and the Dreamlands. Crossover with the Cthulhu mythos (specifically, Lovecraft's Dream Cycle).

Thor is a policeman investigating a series of ritualistic murders. The victims are all young boys, with a fragile-looking body, pale skin and dark hair. The murderer kidnaps the teens, tortures and rapes them before killing them. Thor is ready to do anything to catch the killer. His brother, Loki, who has helped him on other occasions, wants to solve the case as well, but Thor can't help but notice that Loki is exactly the murderer's type.

Well I want to see Loki & the kids face those hardships but also have the helping hand of Thor behind them i.e. At first Thor was freaked out by the kids but since they're his nephews/nieces he watches out for them. And grows to love them deeply and do stuff for them.
