He finds himself at a temple. Marvelous and completely construct of ice. Parts lay on the icy, stone floor in shambles. Altars have been crushed and pillars laid to ruin. Behind large, perilous ruins he finds the creature he hunts; a tiny blue babe.
Odin cradles the thing, and instantly the babe stops crying.
“Have you known a friendly face, child?” Odin asks, but the only answer he receives is a pathetic whimper as the Frost baby stares up at him with untrusting crimson eyes, glossy with a coating of thick tears.

Futurefic prompted by a panel in Latverian Prometheus where Victor von Doom steals Loki’s DNA to attain a better understanding of said trickster. We made it our headcanon that Doom has a harem of Loki clones. Said clones eventually end up in Asgard, where they decide that Doom = king and Balder = king, therefore Balder = Doom. Balder suddenly finds himself in charge of five very
creepyaffectionate, half-naked Lokis who really, really like baths. -

For the following Norsekink prompt: ‘So in the comics, Loki puts an end to Balder's pacifism by luring him into an ambush. I'd love to see a fic where some big buff Asgardian warrior is constantly flirting with Loki and totally crossing the line with the suggestions he's making. The Warriors Three are like, "Hey Balder, aren't you going to do anything about that guy hitting on your boyfriend?" So Balder tries to have a word with the chap, who thinks this is a hilarious example of why Balder's too much of a pussy for Loki. Then, the guy goes way too far with Loki [...] Balder lays the smackdown on this bastard then drags Loki off for sexy claiming and reassertion of his dominance.’
