Silmarillion Prompts by EbonyKitty552

Summary
So I have a prompt list. Several actually. And every day I write a short story based off my prompt word/phrase of the day.
All of them are Silmarillion-related (dips into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings here and there).
Expect everything ranging from utterly cliche romance to mildly explicit gore and horror. No one ever said Arda was a nice place.
But do note that I won't be posting any smut here. Prompts are meaningful snapshots, and unless the sex is really important, I'll be skipping it to get to the point.

Friends, Cousins, Lovers Series by Ann_arien

Summary
A series of one-shots connected to one another by a relatively loose plot. Basically, an excuse to sic the House of Fëanor on the House of Fingolfin, sit back and enjoy the exceedingly smutty fireworks. And with the House of Finarfin thrown in the mix to stir up trouble, we shall have drama and a veritable 'The Immortal and the Restless' scenario on our hands.
This series was written in 2005/2006 (chapters 1-6), but I have unearthed it, re-written it and am currently expanding it to new and gloriously AU heights.

Summary
but Fingolfin said: 'Half-brother in blood, full brother in heart will I be. Thou shalt lead and I will follow. May no new grief divide us.' (Silmarillion, Chapter 9: Of The Darkening of Valinor)
What if the terrible grief that came after had NOT divided the brothers? A single scene, on the frozen shores where the Noldorin exiles were inexorably divided shows them as they should have been if Fingolfin had been allowed to keep his oath.

One place to find them all
One place to post them
One place to keep them all
And in one archive host them."Them" refers to those of my "works" that are too short or too ridiculous (even by my standards) to warrant a fic of their own. So, drabbles, vignettes, puzzles, maybe some "poetry".

Summary
Maedhros is in love with Fingon, but because of his cousins age, they make a deal that a year in the future, they shall become lovers. But life is not kind to Maedhros and being born into a life of political intrigues and games gets him married off to someone else, forcing him to break his promise to Fingon.
You can also see this as an alternative speculation on Erestor's background.
