Summary
Fandom: AU – Mass Effect x Bayverse Transformers Movies
Setting: Set 400 years post-ME3 - Control Ending, and 700 years post-DOTM.
Takes place in the same universe as oneshot Baby-bots, Spark-Attacks, and Cuddle-Buddies.
Synopsis: Jazz brings Bumblebee on a mission to a remote energon mining facility in deep-space to investigate Perceptor's unusual scientific discovery, a Reaper dreadnought, slumbering in the tunnels underneath the mine. The mine's AI, J4N3, a close friend of Jazz, unknowingly inherited the gift preserved inside the genetic code of the first human ally of the Autobot's, Samuel Witwicky.
A gift that like Pandora's Box, once opened could save or destroy the last surviving scions of Primus's legacy, Optimus Prime, the Autobots, and the remnants of the Decepticon forces.
Warnings: This story contains a xenophile romance between an AI and an Autobot, some cuddling, spontaneous kissing, references to interfacing equipment, budding sparklings, Fornax, Shepard’s oddity of attracting suitors among aliens species, and coarse language, especially, cybertronian curse words, like frag, slag, and glitch. What if, in Mission City, Sam never got the chance to kill Megatron with the Cube? Instead Megatron managed to overpower Optimus. Optimus ordered Sam to do what must be done, and so Sam pushed the Cube into Optimus' spark chamber. But in the process he was interrupted by Megatron, and half the Cube remained intact. Optimus didn't die, instead he was just put into stasis lock, and Megatron decided to keep him that way for now...

Summary
Optimus Prime’s message to other Autobots is answered and just in the nick of time. Starscream—with the aid of a strange new power—is leading the Decepticons in Megatron’s stead and all out war on Earth seems inevitable.
However when Megatron rises from the grave he finds the Cybertronian race exposed to a deadly virus which has altered their very form and function. The once great metal giants have been reduced to their most organic roots and no-one is prepared for the consequences.
With the Decepticon forces in chaos under Starscream, and the Autobot forces scrambling to save the crew of the newly crashed Ark, will anyone be able to find a cure in time? Relationships, beliefs and histories will be shattered. New knowledge will forever change humans and Cybertronians alike.
Everyone has a role to play, no matter how small, and sometimes it’s the little things that make all the difference.
