This is a re-imagining of the events that occurred in canon from Maelstrom onward. Instead of following the mystical Leoben into the storm during Maelstrom, Kara comes back to Galactica, where she begins to remember the way to Earth and finds that she isn't the only one who does. The story follows the Fleet, particularly Kara Thrace and the rest of Galactica, as they all search for a place to call home, discovering along the way that they are not all that different from their Cylon enemies-- in fact, they may not be different at all.
