Set in Avengers Tower because I'm in the middle of reading a FABULOUS crossover in which John punches Sherlock once he shows up at the Tower. This is my take on what would happen had that happened.
Essentially, the team stares at Sherlock making tea, Johnlock bicker like, well, long-lost lovers reunited after one of them faked their death and didn't tell the other one, and John jump Sherlock, but not in the way you're thinking (or probably hoping.)Inspiration thanks to the beautiful fic by DullYellowEye called 'In Which Neither Coulson nor Sherlock are Dead (and John sort of joins the Avengers) :D It's beautiful. Post Avengers and told from Clint Barton's point of view. Clint's side of "It's A Little Bit Funny, This Feeling Inside" part of "Your Song" Series
Clint demands to pay his last respects to Coulson and his angered and shocked. After almost quitting S.H.I.E.L.D, and an extended sabbatical with Natasha and copious booze he realizes he is running in the wrong direction. When they move in with the rest of the team, he gets a helping push from his friends to go for the guy.

Upon returning to Asgard to face his punishment, incarceration until the All-Father sees otherwise, Loki conjures up his latest scheme to slay his brother involving, tricking and betraying along the way several dangerous foes. As he is close to his goals a change of heart from his part destroys his plans and while recuperating from severe injuries in Tony's California mansion Loki begins to gain their trust and they gain his. In doing so Loki and Thor begin anew as friends, teammates and brothers. When Loki's temporary allies learn he has used and betrayed them they seek vengeance in the form of Loki's bloodied corpse or the Earth will be destroyed.

Summary
Loki's sentence for his invasion of Earth is Punishment by Ordeal. During this ordeal his once almost-wife, Sigyn, appears to help him through it and support his plan from inside his confinement. When Odin suddenly releases Loki to Earth with Thor, the brothers get a chance to reconcile before it becomes apparent that something is wrong back home and Sigyn returns to Midgard with the news Loki had suffered so much to make sure never happened. The Other has made it to the Nine Realms, Asgard lies in ruins and the sons of Odin are called upon to meet their fate.
