Summary
The journey home is a long one: the road ahead is strewn with treachery and malcontent, deceit and betrayal; paths and their tributaries all, perhaps, leading to Minas Tirith. But sometimes the journey does matter- how it all went down, and later, when you have to live with yourself. Knowing that you acted with integrity, with honor, then it matters. Because if the lives- if the war- is reduced to numbers, then we've already lost what we're fighting for.

Summary
It is the year 82 of the Fourth Age. For the first time since the fall of Barad-dur and after decades of intermittent war, a contingent of Haradrim is coming to Minas Tirith to discuss peace. But Eldarion is uncertain. Having fought the Southrons and grown up on stories of their wickedness, he is sure that Gondor doesn't need such allies. The Queen of the Haradrim, however, seems to think otherwise.
New to her rightful throne after a long and bloody struggle against the usurper who killed her grandfather, Jayashri em Shanav Amirak knows that her people are as tired of war as she. She also knows that the North Men are ignorant of Kiyar and its ways. The Prince of Gondor, however, seems to think otherwise.

Summary
The paths are set, all leading into the Great War, but the path is twisted, the answers are changed and the past shadows the steps of those who dare to face the Shadow again. The journey is coming full circle, but where does the circle end? Rated M for violence just to be safe. Like with all the stories before; this is a mix of book and movie canon.

Summary
So I have a prompt list. Several actually. And every day I write a short story based off my prompt word/phrase of the day.
All of them are Silmarillion-related (dips into The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings here and there).
Expect everything ranging from utterly cliche romance to mildly explicit gore and horror. No one ever said Arda was a nice place.
But do note that I won't be posting any smut here. Prompts are meaningful snapshots, and unless the sex is really important, I'll be skipping it to get to the point.

Summary
This story is part of the Melpomaen the Elfling universe.
Ereolas is the reborn King Oropher and is married to Cirdan. They live in Mithlond. He has decided to write his memoirs of when he was King of the Greenwood and also record the details of his life in Mithlond in anecdotal, diary form.
To familiarise yourself with the characters you could read Melpomaen the Elfling first, but it is not necessary.
Here is a brief synopsis of the events leading up to this story:
Melpomaen and Ereolas are Erestor and Legolas’ elflings. Ereolas is King Oropher reborn and so Legolas actually gave birth to his grand ada. Ereolas is able to speak, read, write, be a pain in the ass, as soon as he is born. Shortly after his birth, he demands his old throne back. His parents and the Valar, who prefer Thranduil as king, resist him. Ereolas accepts, in the end, that he will never be a king again and adopts a new hobby: researching and imposing the rules of etiquette. He terrorises everyone with etiquette.
Oropher’s soul mate is Cirdan and when he came of age they were married and moved to Mithlond. Recently, Ereolas has found that he carries the curse of Legolas.
