Warnings: violence, murder, infidelity, homophobia, (gay) sexual themes (mostly non-explicit, but still)
Mostly a PLOT STORY, despite Jack's flirtations and gay content.

"Having a flatmate was already enough to send some people mad. And, frankly, Rory Williams was a bit surprised that he hadn't gone off of the edge at this point. Having a human as a flatmate was difficult, he knew that. And, just his luck, Rory didn't get a human for a lodger; he got an alien."

The Doctor has learnt many things about Clara today - in this time she's considered a rare artifact, she's not at all like a fish, she has a reasonable lung capacity. Oh, and she doesn't kiss like the other Clara at all.

Rose looks in the Tardis's library for something to read for an afternoon, and finds a sumptuously bound little red book. It turns out to be the old Gallifreyan equivalent of the Kama Sutra.

Time flows like a river, in and out, over cascades, slowly in placid shallows and quickly in the rapids, and doubling back on itself. Fed by the streams and rivulets that are other people, flowing into one’s own time stream.

Summary
They were all bored. All they needed was something to pass the time with, for now anyway. A nice distraction from their usually hectic and, in a couple of cases, what most would consider downright awful lives.
To say the least, they got more than what they bargained for.
With Team Free Will after a mysterious Doctor and his blue box, the Doctor and his many companions rather interested in the world's only consulting detective, and Sherlock Holmes and John Watson after a couple of armed, dangerous, and most likely insane brothers and their so-called 'angel', things went from in the frying pan to right in the flaming pits of Hell faster than you can say "son of a bitch!".
Curiosity killed the cat. Or, in this case, all of the characters you hold near and dear to your heart, and then some.Series

Summary
Rushing to his wife's side, the Doctor noted with concern, "River, you're crying. What is it, love?"
"Of course she's crying. She just said goodbye to her family," Anita answered, unable to believe he'd even had to ask such a question.
"No, it's not that," River said, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Memories. Unlocked memories."Series
