His head swam with a heavy fog, intensifying the dull throbbing at the back of his skull; his body ached and he could feel bruises along his ribs every time he inhaled; his mouth felt as if it were stuffed with cotton balls and sandpaper; and his limbs! “So are you.” They were so intent on renewing their argument, that they didn’t notice Clint take the handcuffs from behind his back and slip them onto Loki’s left wrist, and Tony’s right one. -
