Summary
Here's something that's true: sometimes, when Rose is sleeping and the skies are clear, I go outside and sit on the front steps and name the stars until I lose my voice. Rose thinks it's silly; she'll come out in the morning with a steaming cuppa and make a joke about how old men never seem to sleep.
I laugh, of course. But I think sometimes Rose forgets how old I really am.

Summary
From the moment the Doctor was forced to leave Gallifrey he has taken a few decisions that'll ultimately lead him down a very dark path. The stories that are contained within this series range from one-shots to multi-chaptered stories, either written from the Tenth Doctor's point of view or the POV of another character. This series is not for the people who want to read about the goofy, kind and at times scary Doctor we all know. This is quite a different Doctor. Be warned.
