Summary
Set in a world right out of an RPG, Jensen is Crown prince of the Warren, a military nation that has control of the island nation of Klurikon as well as its inhabitants, the Dokkalfar. However, a boy from Jensen's past is now his protector and Jensen is struggling the fact that Jared's not a boy anymore. He's a man, and a hot one at that. Meanwhile, a necromancer named Danneel is after him and Jensen's only hope for survival is to travel deep into the realm of his oppressed subjects and prey he'll be hidden in the dark. Of course, his faithful knight Jared is there to protect him as well.

(AU post 5.22) In the autumn following the averted Apocalypse, Sam is struggling with nightmares and memories slipping past the wall Kali put in place when she pulled him from the Cage. Gabriel's torn between helping his lover to the best of his ability and helping reorganize Heaven with Cas and Raphael. As Sam's flashbacks worsen and Gabriel learns details of his lover's time spent in the Cage, it becomes clear that the Cage hasn't held together. (03/13 UPDATE: Typoes corrected! Chpt titles added.)

Summary: Jensen was eight years old when the egg he found impossibly hatched into a dragon who only stuck around long enough to take a chunk out of his ear and set fire to his house before vanishing.
Twenty years later, and Jensen is still trying to convince himself that he imagined the whole thing (and his family that he isn't a pyromaniac), when the dragon reappears on his doorstep. Only this time Jared is a lot bigger than he was when they first met, and he's walking on two legs.

But anything changes after Dean, desperate and unhappy with his existence, tries unsuccessfully to kill himself – suddenly he has to face a new world far away from his father and uncle, a new group of people who want only the best for him, but most of all, he has to come to grips with the fact that he has never truly been an Omega but a subdued Alpha all along.

This about four boys—Jared, whose parents haven't quite managed to deal with the death of his older brother, Jensen, abandoned by his mother to an abusive father, Tommy, suffering youngest child syndrome in a family of incredible overachievers, and Mike, trying to stand out in his crowded family while dealing with a sort of benign neglect from his over-stressed parents.
The story takes place over a few days in summer, in an unnamed state somewhere on the east coast, when the boys undertake to find a body abandoned in the woods.
This AU is based (so loosely) on Stand By Me, which in turn was based on The Body, by Steven King. Written for the 2012 -

Dean and Sam take a break from their search for the Leviathans to investigate a series of deaths in a small town in New Mexico. A confrontation with the killer leaves Dean blinded. He must find a way to cope with the aftermath and deal with the extra "gift" he has been given, a gift that threatens to expose Sam's worst fears. Spoilers up through episode 7.10.

Summary
Jared, Monarch of Valdesco, did not want to get married. He especially didn't want a political marriage to someone who was part of the negotiations for peace. There was no way he could deal with a spouse whose culture was completely alien to his own.
Jensen Ackles was appalled to be the War Prize his country offered up as reparations. He sincerely did not want to go from being the High Chief's youngest son to being without status. And mostly, Jensen did not want to live in a country that was so technologically advanced that he had no hope of beginning to understand it.
But, like a lot of things in life, neither one of them was going to get a choice about it.

Summary
Technically, Harley found the lizard (which was actually a dragon!) and Jared took it home because it was hurt (even though his mama had said no more pets). It was okay though, because Jared didn't intend to keep it. In fact, it had to have escaped from one of the government zoos (and having it in the house was probably dangerous), so Jared planned on returning it (but the dragon had plans of his own).
Featuring a (nearly) 17-year-old Jared, his family, and his family's pets (which include 2 dogs, 1 bird, 1 gerbil and 2 turtles) and Jensen as the dragon (of course).
