This is my second art entry for the 2011 SPN J2 BigBang Challenge.
Author's Summary:
When police officer Jensen Ackles gets back to his home town he doesn’t expect things to get exciting. But when he meets Jared Padalecki he starts to doubt he will ever lead a normal life. When the murders start, he knows that his life isn’t going to be quiet from now on.

Summary
Jared sort of figured that death would mean a change in location. He just didn't think he'd have to move to Los Angeles and start working as a grim reaper. Every day, he and his colleagues (Jensen, Misha and Genevieve) meet up at the Bavarian Waffle House to get their assignments from their boss, Loretta. After a rough start, Jared and Jensen just click - and decide that there's really no reason for dead guys to play by the rules. They have questions, and a road trip to Texas might help them get some answers.
While this fic is based on the premise of "Dead Like Me", it's not a retelling. This universe has its own rules and its own story, sprinkled with occasional references to the source.Warnings: Things that come with the territory: mentions of pain and illness, a few gory details, character death. Neither of the Js is any deader in the end than he was in the beginning, though.

Summary
Set in a world right out of an RPG, Jensen is Crown prince of the Warren, a military nation that has control of the island nation of Klurikon as well as its inhabitants, the Dokkalfar. However, a boy from Jensen's past is now his protector and Jensen is struggling the fact that Jared's not a boy anymore. He's a man, and a hot one at that. Meanwhile, a necromancer named Danneel is after him and Jensen's only hope for survival is to travel deep into the realm of his oppressed subjects and prey he'll be hidden in the dark. Of course, his faithful knight Jared is there to protect him as well.

Summary

With a writer’s block and a fiancé left back in San Francisco and no desire to tell anyone about it, he runs into his three childhood best friends Mikey, Tommy and the guy who has been the cause of Jared’s vow: Jensen. Now that Jared’s back, he needs to reconcile who he once was and what he has now become. But with the help of the people who used to know him better than he knew himself, Jared might be able to figure everything out.

Jared needs a new place to live, and fast. Salvation comes in the form of a cute redhead named Danneel in his English class. Living in a huge spacious house with four other roommates seems like an ideal solution, but trouble has always found itself around Jared Padalecki, and this time is no different. He's had his whole live planned since he started University, but it looks like all it's going take is one man to knock it all down.
Jensen Ackles has been trying to fit in with everybody else for as long as he could remember. Broken from actions so horrible that he's blocked them from his mind, he lives in a world where the broken pieces of his self fight for control. He's managed to keep everybody he loves at a distance for all his life, but all that's about to change.

Summary
Jared's a scientist in training (second year grad student, immunology) and the artist for his and Chad's web comic (black and white, two new pages every week), and he feels as if he spends most of his life on one or the other. (And sometimes, when he's drawing or inking comic pages in the lab, both.) The only things keeping him sane are his friends (most of the time), his dogs, and the friendly, amused voice of an overnight DJ named Jensen Ross.

On the eve of the third world war, major world powers built machines to stand in the place of human soldiers. Who knew the machines would get along better than the humans ever did? Governments and cities fell one after another as the machines -- red-eyed, metal monsters built to level cities and destroy humanity -- wreaked havoc across the world. Now there is no communication, no infrastructure, no law to rely on, and people are living in scattered pockets across the globe. Jensen is a member and unsaid leader of one of those camps, dug into underground bunkers by night, and raiding the desolate husk of a broken city by day. Jared finds his way to the ragtag group of survivors, and they all struggle to find their place in a world that is nothing like what they have known.

Summary: Jensen was eight years old when the egg he found impossibly hatched into a dragon who only stuck around long enough to take a chunk out of his ear and set fire to his house before vanishing.
Twenty years later, and Jensen is still trying to convince himself that he imagined the whole thing (and his family that he isn't a pyromaniac), when the dragon reappears on his doorstep. Only this time Jared is a lot bigger than he was when they first met, and he's walking on two legs.

Dashing-adventurer!Jared meets male-equivalent-of-a-damsel-in-distress!Jensen, who is on the run from a very shady JDM. With a little (read: a lot) of help from Jensen, Jared overcomes various hazards including a fire-breathing dragon, a haunted forest, and a nymph who is adamant that Jared should come to live with her underwater.
Jared's reputation grows as a result of his heroics but before he and Jensen can plan their happily ever after, Jensen's past rears its ugly head, putting both of their lives in danger. It turns out that disgruntled dragons are the least of Jared's problems.
