or otherwise known as that time when Yamamoto annoyed Squalo into liking him.

Yamamoto just wanted to show him the true greatness of Squalo’s style, his genius. One time you think he’s charging straight on, but his hand flips back to stab from behind, another time it’s gunpowder from blades, then you think it’s a direct slice, and it is, but the meeting of those swords paralyzes you. Always a step ahead in some wholly unpredicted direction, that was the subtlety, the genius that made Yamamoto want to fight him again and again and again...
