Summary
Every day is different from the last. On some days they trained and on others they incented. Some held flights and some free falls. There were some where adventures were had and new friends made. But always they were together.

What Steve doesn't do is wait for a phone call, day after day. Or pay any mind to the dull ache in his chest. Or think about what it means to want someone who's made it clear they don't wanna be with you, 'cause they've got a good thing going with someone else.
If he'd known about Pepper, that night with Stark never would've happened. He's got more self-respect than that. He doesn't like hurting people. If he doesn't believe these two things about himself, he's lost.
In which Steve is trying to find a place for himself in the twenty-first century, Tony is appallingly unfaithful to Pepper, and Loki returns to earth, joins the Avengers, and does not quite seek redemption or absolution. Sex, angst, and mutant civil rights, and doing the wrong things for the right reasons (and the right things for the wrong reasons).

Steve is poisoned in battle, and the team thinks Tony let it happen. Thor, Steve's lover, watches and waits as Steve doesn't wake up. Tony, locked in his workshop, has only the bots and JARVIS on his side as he works away the pain. But when time passes and Thor decides a sacrifice is in order, he takes action that can't be undone. When Steve wakes up and everyone realizes what they've done, all that's left are pieces of a puzzle that can't be put back together.

Originally a fill posted at norsekink in response to the prompt:
"After the Avengers capture Loki at the end of the movie, they lock him up as a precaution before shipping him off to Asgard. And being the good guys, they decide to give him the chance to bathe and dress in clean clothes instead of sleeping in his own dirty rags.
The problem is, without the whole battle gear and the drawn and mean look, Loki looks surprisingly young, which prompts the Avengers to ask Thor just how old Loki really is. Of course Loki is centuries old, but Thor tells them that in human standard, Loki would still be considered underage!
Cue to horrified Avengers who wants to know exactly what sort of crappy home life Loki must have had to end up like this before even reaching adulthood."
It rather spiralled from there into a behemoth, now in the process of being edited and hopefully cleaned of glaring plotholes! Updated daily.
