Based on a prompt: What if instead of Bucky falling into the ice, Steve did, and was later picked up by General Karpov and trained. Eventual Steve/Natasha, after which it will likely really begin to deviate from canon (moreso than usual), and that's when it'll start to edge into 'M' territory as well.

Summary
Natasha was 8 years old when her Mob boss father shot her Mother. Her mother's dying wish was for Natasha to run as far away from her father as possible...so she did. Natasha runs her entire life, one step ahead of the man who wants to claim his child and mould her into something evil and dark.
Natasha is content to never see her father again, until she meets Officer Rogers. He picks up the pieces of her shattered life and makes it worth living again.
"And all the kings horses and all the kings men couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back together again."
Just maybe Steve could put Natasha together again.But when Natasha's father means Steve harm will Natasha keep running?
