Sitting in his office with a view of his team currently taking a break around the computer table to chat and have a good laugh, Steve stopped to think on how good his life was currently sitting at. It wasn’t perfect but it was good. Satisfactory. He had a healthy Dragae, a blood red dragon curled up in front of the window, basking in the sunlight. He was a strong telepath, his ability strengthen and flourished with the training the Navy offered. They had a high success rate as a team made up of only Psychs and their Dragae.
Then Jenna and Lori disappeared. More and more Psychs and their Dragae were vanishing from around the world. No one knew where to look or who to turn to or what to do.
