Summary
Follow an elf named Athadra as she climbs out of the long shadow cast by the Circle Tower into a fight she never asked for, whose conclusion is far from forgone. She will know passion, betrayal, anger, terror, and maybe even a few laughs along the way.
Not a scene-by-scene reconstruction; there are several interesting deviations from the standard Origins game throughout. Trigger warning for non-consensual references in several places. Most chapters are 'Teen and Up,' especially for the first half of the story, but several later chapters involve graphic depictions of violence and some very sexual situations. Some of the more extreme chapters will eventually get links to their 'Teen and Up' equivalents at fanfiction.net, where the story is being mirrored. Volume Two. After having left Ostagar and Lothering behind and dealing with its disastrous outcome, the direction for the first treaty is decided. Lenya and her rag-tag group will try to appeal for help against the Blight in Orzammar. Dealing with tedious dwarven politics with suffocating stone overhead gets only worse, as soon Lenya needs to set a foot into the Deep Roads to find a Paragon. The unexpected help she found is direly needed, as she will face the true, ghastly nature of the darkspawn and the Blight. The consequences and events thereof will haunt her long after a new dwarven king is crowned. But through this all, she isn't as alone as she thought.

Volume One contains Lenya Mahariel's first reluctant steps outside the safe boundaries of her clan into a foreign world of humans, she hates more than anything. She never wanted to become a Warden, but Duncan left her no choice. Bitter by the force of fate and by having lost everything Lenya once hold dear, she is all but an easy person to deal with. Nevertheless she needs to cope with the guilt of surviving to be able to face new, bigger than life responsibilities, as the plans in Ostagar went more than awry. To be able to survive, Lenya needs to team up with her only remaining fellow Warden. A human, of all people.
