One of the best Star Trek Reboot fanfiction I've ever read. Actually, come to think about it, it most likely is the utter best. It focuses on the relationship that made me fall in love with this universe--Bones and Kirk--and portrays their friendship in the best way imaginable. It's not about blood or romance--they're family, and it's beautiful. This is, frankly, what I've been looking for all along.
Of course, the fact that the writing's brilliant, that the story is fascinating and that I never, ever get the slightest bit tired of it doesn't hurt, either.
Perfection. Really, it is. -
