After the death of their former master, Spock and Jim fall into the hands of Vargaz and his bodyguard Banta - two exeptionally sadistic beings. They soon have to realize that they will have to go through hell if they want to make their dreams come true: Become free men and travel to the seemingly out-of-reach stars. Their only ally: An old country Doctor.
AU-Slave fiction. Story is going to be quite dark in places. Warnings will be issued at the beginning of each chapter.

“How are you here? You can’t be here-I saw them lock you away!” He was screaming, hands shaking furiously. Khan slowly rose, each movement elegant and measured. He advanced until he was standing inches away from Jim’s face. The captain shivered as the other leaned in until he could feel cold breath against his neck.
“Oh, I am not out yet. Actually, I am right here…” he took one cold hand and ran it down the captain’s chest, stopping over his heart.
Khan inhaled deeply and then he disappeared, leaving Jim alone in his room, weapon aimed at empty air.James t. Kirk, the captain of the Starship Enterprise, the hero who saved not only his entire crew, but all of Starfleet from a man hell bent on revenge, cannot sleep. The blood of a killer is the only thing keeping him alive and a strange new voice has found a home in his head. When he starts to see Khan everywhere, he will begin to question his sanity...along with everything else.

-Khan is, for once, forced into an inferior position. As Khan attempts to find loopholes in Vulcan technology, Kirk tries to adjust to having the man who caused him so much pain beside him all the time, and the overwhelming desire to abuse his power over the super-human.
Will incorporate plots from episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series, with Khan added in. 'E' for future chapters.

After being married for almost a year, Jim and Spock finally have time to watch the uncut footage from their wedding video due to being quarantined after Jim sort of died for a few minutes. (Don't ask, but at least they are trapped together.) What do their friends and family (and I use the term loosely) really think of their relationship? Also, can our favorite couple survive three weeks of medical captivity with no sex? Actually, can they survive at all? Because things are not quite what they seem.

Summary
In the movie, Spock was worried about appearing to give favoritism to Nyota -- there must have been some reason he was worried about giving that impression. Someone KNEW something was up. And how would a 'logical' guy like Spock wind up wrapped up in something like that to begin with?
Also, Spock seemed to be Pike's second in Command, but apparently had been some sort of instructor at some time...how did he go from instructor to second in Command on the Enterprise?
Finally, love Spock as I do, he has some anger management issues.

Summary
Jim is heading towards a personal crisis. Their mission is vitally important: to find a new home world for the Vulcan race in the face of alien opposition. Soon it is clear that there is only one planet that will do. To secure the mysterious planet Jim must play his hand perfectly, but guilt at not having been able to save Vulcan and the responsibilities of captaining the Enterprise are wearing him down. Determined to be professional, he forces loneliness upon himself until a kiss he shares with his first officer changes everything.
