His life has always been messed up since the accident that killed his mother and made his brother 'special' but he never expected it to get even more fucked up. The day his father tells him that he is getting remarried to the witch that owns Betty Crocker makes a million negative emotions go through him. He hates moving, hates his dad and everything in particular and swears that he will never like his new family or accept it. That is until his feelings start to change when he meets the Amporas who live with their cousins in the Piexies massive mansion since their mom dies when Eridan was just a baby and their father a few years back in the navy. from the moment he sets his eyes on the smoking hot Eridan Ampora, Sollux knows that the hate he feels will be hard to cling to.

Summary
Year 2078, United States of America. The U.S. was the leading country in space exploration and research. Hundreds of planets, inside and outside the solar system had been discovered, explored, and even a few had been colonized. The bursting population of Earth demanded outward expansion, and people were encouraged to embrace space travel from a young age.
It had, over the past 15 or so years, become somewhat common in the United States for young people to go off-planet in the summer between their sophomore and junior years of high school. Space Exploration And Research Educational Deployment, or SEARED, was a government run program, facilitating travel, accommodation, and safety for the young astronauts.
The 8 kids from homestuck attend high school together, not all of them friends, some complete strangers to one another. They eventually end up coming together to travel to Alternia through the SEARED program.
