He didn't expect how hard it would be or that he'd eventually have the chance to get back at the man who'd stolen his freedom and destroyed his life. When Dick convinced Bruce to take him to the circus for his nineteenth birthday, it led to them witnessing a pair of murders that changed not just Timothy Drake's life but Dick's as well. The journey he went on after bringing Tim home took Dick places he never expected and proved to him that he was far more fragile than he'd thought as well as stronger than he knew.
