Gawain tore his eyes from the monstrosity in front of him just in time to see the last on the knights around him place their fingers on their noses. Oh no. Oh shite, no. He realized, in horror, that he was the only one who hadn’t. “No,” he hissed. “When did we start doing Nose Goes?”

Gwaine finds himself dozing off in the Wirral. And of course, things happen. The Green Knight is curious, apparently, and Gwaine does not exactly care. Something of a crossover between Merlin and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.

    Summary

It wasn’t that he didn’t notice that there was something odd from the start... It was just that it was Christmas night, everyone was half-drunk and bored daft and Sir Henry Percy was a knight of the Garter, Warden of the east marches, Royal Lieutenant in Wales, not a peasant to be affrighted by bogles, wodwos and salvage men nor a florid Celt to speak credulously of trepidations, portents and freaks.

(The dreams were another thing, another thing entirely, only a fool could fail to see the difference.)

Of course it was a pleasantry. There was nothing else on earth it could have been.

    Summary

[Crossover with Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and The Wedding of Sir Gawain and Dame Ragnelle.] Merlin couldn't have picked a worse time to finally tell Arthur about his magic. In the wake of the battle against the immortal army, a strange visitor disrupts the court, calling himself the Green Knight and proposing a test of the court's integrity. Although Uther turns him away, several of Camelot's northern allies end up mysteriously beheaded over the next few months, and Arthur, Merlin and the knights set out to investigate. They encounter more than they'd bargained for on the way—a reckless young boy, a lady in search of a husband, a centuries-old fairytale that holds more than a grain of truth... and a challenge that ends up being more than just a game.
