Summary
Written in 2006. The 'verse goes AU after Season 7 "Selfless" and Angel Season 2 "Dead End." This particular fic is set a year and a half after the events of "Outside Deep Ellum", and a year and some months after the AU's end of Sunnydale. Giles and Anya live just outside the funky Dallas neighbourhood of Deep Ellum, in a flat above the magic shop Anya manages, and Giles works for a mysterious figure named the Blind One. This story concerns heavy strings both literal and metaphorical, bad magic, good music, London visits, and the difficulty of getting through the bad times.

Set in Season Seven, this fic goes (very) AU after "Selfless" (and after AtS Season Two and the episode "Dead End"). It was in part inspired by an LJ friend who opined that Anya's Sunnydale story ends after that episode. Well, then! Giles, shell-shocked and wounded, is on a quest for the Prokaryote stone; he finds much, much more than he expected. The fic also contains a supporting turn by an AtS character.

Post DH EWE Post Chosen/AtS s5 except for the fact there was one less fatality than in canon.
Giles and Anya receive some surprise visitors on their eldest's eleventh birthday. One is there to represent Hogwarts, Giles' English citizenship making his daughter eligible. The other has come from Durmstrang, thanks to Anya's originally Scandinavian background. Both are surprised when they find out neither parent is a Muggle in the strictest sense, but perhaps they're even more surprised to run into each other. How will things turn out between Professors Księcia and Krum? -
