After realizing that Ed is falling for Roy Trisha leaves but not without giving Ed a chance to earn his humanity and be with Roy, but Envy likes Roy to. How will Roy earn enough silver for him and his friends to get out of the work house and have a home? Will Envy take no for an answer? Will Alphonse also fall in love? There's a particular reason that Riza Hawkeye is so driven to protecting Roy Mustang. It's about a promise she made in her youth - a promise she's unable to break, or else.
This started as basically a wacky TVTropes Wild Mass Guessing theory about Hawkeye, and over time I decided I wanted to make it into an actual fic. Spoilers aplenty for both FMAB and Madoka, especially the latter. Also, may or may not add archive warnings or more relationship/characters tags as the story goes on.

Now Edward has to deal with his guilt, his growing desires and the ever present threat of their sinful relationship being found out. He knows that his love for Alphonse is enough to pull him through anything...but he could never have guessed that Alphonse's love would be so hard to keep.
