By the time Liz and Kyle figure out what Tess did it is too late. On the drive to the Pod Chamber they see the Granolith shooting up into space. They arrive at the rubble of the Pod Chamber and no one is left. This story will reference and have some dialogue from Roswell Episode #214 How the Other Half Lives. In the Stargate Universe everything up to Episode 2.16 The Fifth Race has happened. After the Pod Squad departs Liz fulfills her Harvard dream and is now a scientist at Stargate Command.
