Robert Frobisher committed suicide in 1936. Rufus Sixsmith was murdered in 1973.
For years, Robert has been waiting for Rufus to join him.
Now it's simply a case of finding each other again, back from the beginning where they first started. And it's a challenge they have no choice but to overcome, no matter how impossible their new lives may make it seem.

Sa che la causa per cui si è innamorato di Robert -è inutile girarci intorno dopo mesi- è stata probabilmente una sola nota di pianoforte e quell'arroganza che deriva dalla consapevolezza di sé. Sa che l'effetto sarà devastante sulla lunga distanza -come potrebbe essere diversamente con Robert?- ma finché Robert è il primo a prenderlo per mano non appena sono soli, l'effetto può essere ritardato.
