Summary
Life of a new intern in an emergency room; the people he meets, the cases he solves and life inside and outside the E.R.
(ER/DW AU cross-over)
“And actually, I didn’t guide you in any way during this one, so, I was right, you don’t need me.”
Oh, but I do. He thinks to himself. I do need you. Maybe not for placing casts on broken wrists, but for everything important; everything that matters.
“So, you’re satisfied?” He checks.
No. She thinks to herself. I won’t be satisfied until I have you.

unapologetic timebaby fic:
River's birthing story, in which Rory finds his inner midwife and Idris gets a minor role as neonatalogist. Can you call it a home birth if it takes place in the Vortex?Obviously not canon compliant, but I like to think I didn't take too many liberties with character, anyway, other than allowing Amy and Rory to meet their grandchild. And well...that's just a kindness.

Summary
«Ehi, ragazzina, tutto a posto?», un uomo con un ampio impermeabile scuro con tanto di cappuccio calato sul volto si è chinato verso lei e le sta scuotendo un braccio come per risvegliarla dal suo torpore.
«Tu cosa ne pensi?», gli risponde lei in tono seccato, dimostrando chiaramente che, anche in quelle condizioni, lei non ha affatto paura né di quel tizio losco né di nessun altro. -

Summary
This is actually the first story where I played with the theme of the Doctor and River's family. It's going to continue through the 12th and 13th with River, working with Moffat's hints of using a seriously revised version of the late 1980's Cartmel plan.
About the story title- it comes from John Lennon's song "Woman". It's been my favorite song of his since it came out in 1980. I happened to hear it again while I was coming up with this story. I realized the lyrics could fit River and the Doctor's relationship quite well. So I picked the line "It Is Written In The Stars" from the song for my title.

Hope is so infrequent and so fragile. There was no way he could save her, nothing he could do to change the hardship she had to endure, but he was damned if she was going to have to do it all alone.

«Ok… sì, d’accordo, River, sì, però… River. River. River!»

‘Sweetie, when it comes to stroking cocks, there’s another one I prefer to pet,’ River’s lips curl into a sinful smirk. ‘And I am pretty sure you wouldn’t like me to stop petting that one, would you?’
