    Summary

Written for the kinkmeme prompt that asked for Sam to get permanently trapped on the Grid, mope about it for a bit, then fall in love. Except I was super intrigued by the elephant in the prompt - another Flynn goes mysteriously missing. Surely this would spark interest... and hey, it fit with the Grid of The Loop, so there's ghosts of the past to worry about as well.

[To anyone who read this on the kinkmeme first: this stays on the same plot course but it's in many ways a whole new fic: more action, more plot, more Rinzler.]

    Summary

A film noir AU where Rinzler is the antisocial detective of a small town with its own brand of political corruption. He wants things he can't have and doesn't know to appreciate what he does. Also, Ram continues to be more astute than he's given credit for.

    Summary

When they found his car outside Flynn's arcade, with his pager -- the one Kevin had always told him to sleep with, just in case -- sitting on the seat, there'd be no search. No brave mission to carry on his memory, no t-shirts emblazoned with Bradley Lives. It looked too much like suicide.

    Summary

“Not so big now, huh?” Sam wheezed out a laugh. “Not without your discs, you aren't.”

Rinzler didn't reply. But then he didn't really seem like he was big on the whole 'words' thing anyway. He did hit him again though, and discs or not, the program had a mean left hook. Guy had some pretty mean knees too. And his right fist was none too friendly either.

    Summary

Technically this is a sequel to Deck the Grid, although you can probably read this without having read that first. Perl decides that the development of CLU and Sam's “relationship” isn't going fast enough for her, so she tries to update Sam's code to speed things up. Unfortunately for Sam, her coding wasn't checked well enough, and instead, she accidentally makes the entire population of the Grid fall head-over-heels in lust for Sam!
