Sebastian has a whole array of them, though none of them overly conspicuous (Jim’s very particular about ‘unique calling cards’, and he does like his sniper in the shadows), and while they look beautiful, stretched across his skin, the ink seeping in as if the tendrils had clung to the skin, a sentient being, and latched on as tightly as Rich himself had, he can’t ever imagine having them himself."

Jim had them pack bags when they found out, a neighbor told them that there parents wouldn't be coming home after a few days and Jim knew it was true. Richard didn't question him, Jim always knew what to do when horrible things happened... -

Daddy had signed it and had drawn heart on it and Sebby had drawn a tiger that looked like it was about to eat Richard’s thumb. He didn’t like the tiger as much, it was scary, but Sebby was a good artist so it was okay.

They came together, like a pair. Jim said that he only wanted Sebastian but he learned that only having one without the other was like telly with no color and sound. Severin was good with his hands, tearing apart bodies bit by bit, and Sebastian was good with guns, shooting men from rooftops and staying quiet and still for hours if he had to.
They were both big and scary and greasy and Richard could barely tell them apart most days, if it weren’t from the scars. And even then they were terrifyingly similar and he wondered if that was what he and Jim were like to strangers

Richard hadn’t meant for Sebastian to see it, really, he hadn’t known Sebastian would be in their room, what he was doing there was still a mystery but Sebastian had seemed enthralled at the sight, nearly swallowing his cigarette when Richard emerged from the shower, just a towel around his hips.
Sebastian hadn’t said anything, just slowly took off his shirt, still staring wide eyed at Richard.
