He fashioned from the Alpha Man’s rib bone a second in His image, hollow but for love for God and love for the Alpha Man, and that was the omega man. When his eyes opened for the first time the Lord God blew dust from the Earth into his sight and blinded him but to love for God and love for the Alpha Man and He did tether them with dust and salt as sat in the Alpha Man’s wound.
George doesn’t believe in all that catechism anymore, but in the grand scheme of things, and in Clevedon, it doesn’t matter much.
This is a really plotty, meta, metaphorical, semi-dystopian-but-following-X-Factor-timeline-and-with-a-happy-ending, crackships-ahoy Alpha/beta/omega fic. Alpha!Harry/omega!George.

As an alpha, Enjolras has known Grantaire to be his mate since he first came to the Musain, a truth he does his best to bury. With his devotion already promised to France, he tells himself he cannot risk dividing his loyalties, cannot risk a bond that would pull so heavy on his heart. This is what he's told himself a thousand times, but when Grantaire needs him, his careful resolutions may not be able to hold against the strain.

Written for the kink meme. The prompt is this So, werewolf soul-bonding anyone?
I was thinking, Bane's a werewolf and John's a werewolf hunter in training. Bruce is his teacher because his parents were killed by werewolves? Or it's just part of the vigilante gig?
Anyway, only werewolves soul bound (discovered by direct skin to skin contact) and they can bond with humans or other werewolves.
During a fight Bane touches John discovers John is his mate and either bites/scratches(?) him right there or John gets away and Bane follows him home and turns him there. Bane doesn't ask for permission either way.
Now John has to deal with being a new werewolf, being stuck with Bane (which kind-a feels nice, but at the same time is a big NO THANK YOU), and he's worried that Bruce might show up and kill him.

He feels a tinge of sadness when Canada wins, but he guesses he just feels bad. Ovechkin’s not the only one crying, and Sid isn’t so unfeeling he doesn’t have some sympathy for how it must suck to lose. He also gets a headache when he flies back home, but he’s just really overtired is all.
