Unseen and unheard, Ganymede moves through the palace of Olympus with the ease and inconspicuousness of a servant, or at least the gods and goddesses of Olympus do well at playing their part. What reasons have they to worry from a lone human amongst immortals?
Raised in luxury and tasked with keeping Zeus's goblet and plate full of nectar and ambrosia at all times, Ganymede has never wanted for anything under the watchful eyes of Zeus and Athena, never feared even the volatile Ares, trained as he is at being invisible.
- Part 1 of King's Cup
“He has no match in battle,” Apollo said seriously, black eyes burning through Patroclus with their knowledge of deeper things than Patroclus could ever know. “So I shall give him a match.”
In an alternate telling, Patroclus is a farmboy drafted into the side of Troy and barely managing to survive from battle to battle, and Achilles is the best of the Greeks. After interference by the God Apollo, Patroclus becomes the Trojans' best hope and Achilles' greatest labor. Canon Divergent AU *COMPLETE*

They don't believe me. Why would they? No one would believe a blind woman, especially a girl even if she was a princess of Troy and a priestess of Apollo, saying she could see. They whisper when they think I can't hear that I stared at the sun for too long and it also took my mind when it took my sight. But I can see and I've been able to ever since my sight was taken.

Seven Badgers of Troy by Jenett for betony

A treat for Betony, because her prompt of "The Hogwarts- AU Trojan War fic I half-wish existed (bizarrely, I've always fan sorted the Trojans into Hufflepuff, shielding Helen in the spirit of their house and consequently getting on the wrong side a Gryffindor-Slytherin-Ravenclaw alliance.)" ate my brain.
