Summary
Stiles should have left them where he found them and called the wildlife department but with Stiles being Stiles, and his damn paternal instincts flaring up, of course he didn't. Instead he brought them to the Hale house. Hey, if hanging out with Werewolves could constantly get him into life threatening situations he should at least get something good out of it...like help raising the two little wolf cubs he's suddenly fallen in love with.
He doesn't even realize how much he's affecting Derek. Unfortunately for Derek, the rest of the pack does.

Summary
The sheriff suspects something going on between Stiles and Derek. Stiles is pretty adamant that that's ridiculous (little does he know that Derek might actually be interested). Meanwhile, there's a new monster in B-Hills, an old friend of the Stilinski family is back in town, and Derek is becoming a responsible adult. No, really.
General spoilers for the show/characters post-s2. I've been trying to avoid spoilers for s3, but that's really hard so some have filtered into this story - this is set about a year after 2x12, so the end of their Junior year of high school. Stiles is still underage (17).

The Alpha pack has been systematically attacking Stiles and his friends for months, testing their strengths and weaknesses. When one of the Alphas goes after Stiles and he's injured, he awakens in the hospital later to realize that something's wrong. Very wrong. How is he supposed to deal with the fact that he's lost the ability to communicate with his dad and his friends?
Without his ability to talk, his sarcasm, and his wit, what does Stiles even have left? Enter Derek, the only one who seems to make it better.

Summary
LJ Prompt: Derek gets de-aged, physically *and* mentally, and immediately gravitates towards Stiles instead of his pack. Why? Because he can sense that everyone else (Scott, Erica, Boyd, Isaac, etc.) is a werewolf (or were-something, in Jackson's case), and his family taught him not to trust unfamiliar weres when he was on his own. He can also sense that Allison's a Hunter or connected to them somehow, (maybe she smells like wolfsbane? w/e). So Stiles ends up having to take care of him until he's back to normal. In the meantime, bb!Derek gets very protective of Stiles, and adorable shenanigans ensue.
Gen is fine, but bonus points for Derek/Stiles either happening as a result if they weren't already in some kind of relationship.
