Neither does Harry Potter, for that matter, who ends being the only one willing to take on the case when the new Professor starts receiving death threats of the most rare kind. Too bad said Potions Professor doesn't seem to think he needs the protection, which only serves to make Harry's job that much harder... among other things.

Scorp’s always going on about how brilliant his father is at curse breaking. If Mr. Malfoy can figure out how to fix this magical mishap, maybe they’ll never need to mention a thing about it to Mum. Or Nana. Or Aunt Hermione. But first things first - hopefully Mr. Malfoy is brilliant at changing diapers. If not, at least they have house-elves at Malfoy Manor, right?

Draco, summoned to talk to Snape’s portrait at the same time, meets a Harry he hasn’t expected, one who’s going to request something strange from him, and perhaps require more than that.
