When does a story start?
Some would say that it starts when another ends.
Others would say that no story has a clear beginning or, for the matter, a clear end, but that all stories weave in and out of each other like the threads of a loom.
Both theories, and others, are perhaps true. But when I think about setting on paper this last part of my story, I know in my heart when it starts. Others might think this is not the true beginning, that I should have begun my story when I chose to leave the Six Duchies, or when I had the dream that left my bones aching and my eyes burning, or even before, when I came out of the Skill-Pillar. To them I would answer that I alone know when this story begins. And it begins thusly...Series

Which seems, to both of them, like a pretty big problem...until Molly finds a corpse in her garden.
Lestrade and Molly try to solve the murder before someone can pin the crime on one of them--and, while they're at it, solve the mystery of how they actually feel about each other. Sherlock and John try to figure out how that sapphire got into that chicken...and how this whole relationship upgrade is supposed to work. Harry, well, all she's trying to do is start up a law practice and get back into the dating game. But they're all trapped in the same weird web; and the harder they try to avoid each other, the closer they're drawn to its center.

Stiles observes pausing mid-changing to glance at his best friend. It sounds like a statement, his voice flat. Still, Scott recognises that tone, recognises Stiles' uneasiness in his shifting stance, his flickering gaze. Recognises the way Stiles wets his lips and sucks them in to keep the words from spilling; an unexpected mesmerising display. Scott feels as if his vision is zooming in but he still manages to raise his brows accompanied by slightly widened eyes in response to Stiles' declaration. Or in response to how he cannot rip his gaze off that spit shiny mouth, he wouldn't know.

[This originally had a tag 'major character death', but seeing as neither of the deaths were Loki or Tony, I got rid of it.]
Two years after the capture of Loki on Midgard, the death of Odin resulted in the crowning of Thor and the return of Loki from his exile. Unfortunately for Loki, he had preferred exile to Asgard and became stuck with the limbo-life he'd never wanted. However, when chaos erupts during Thor's two-year anniversary, Loki finds himself lost from Asgard with Tony Stark and without answers. And with more and more incidents in each of the realms occurring when they shouldn't, the both of them land on a journey neither had imagined themselves to be in. Where most of the time they're just trying to survive, and were probably both just in the wrong place at the right time.
