Фик пишется на Хоббит-фест по заявке II-17: «Изгнанный принц Торин после изгнания, не имея средств к существованию, вынужден идти работать на панель/в бордель (в Бри, Лихолесье, Имладрисе, Минас-Тирите или др. – на выбор)».
Но по сути пока это макси-джен, и бордель только маячит на горизонте)) По принципу I watch for the plot я решила написать максимально интересный и достоверный обоснуй заявке и как-то увлеклась этим)) Так что в основном это длинный детально описанный эпизод изгнанничества, во время которого гномы с Одинокой Горы во главе с Торином оказываются в Минас Тирит и пытаются ужиться в нем.
Действие происходит почти за 100 лет до событий "Хоббита", в то время, когда изгнанники-гномы скитались по миру после появления Смога в Одинокой Горе. Напомню, что король и дед Торина, Трор, был убит в битве при Азанулбизаре в 2799 году (младший брат Торина Фрерин погиб там же). Отец Торина Траин оставил его и племя гномов и направился в Морию приблизительно в 2841 году (в "Хоббите" говорится "ровно сто лет назад").
Мой таймлайн - приблизительно 2850 год Третьей Эпохи, когда Торин остается в одиночестве, но точной информации о гибели отца у него пока нет. Ему приблизительно 105 лет.

When does a story start?
Some would say that it starts when another ends.
Others would say that no story has a clear beginning or, for the matter, a clear end, but that all stories weave in and out of each other like the threads of a loom.
Both theories, and others, are perhaps true. But when I think about setting on paper this last part of my story, I know in my heart when it starts. Others might think this is not the true beginning, that I should have begun my story when I chose to leave the Six Duchies, or when I had the dream that left my bones aching and my eyes burning, or even before, when I came out of the Skill-Pillar. Dave is a fairly normal teen with fairly normal friends, struggling through life with teenage angst and love and fear and low self esteem and love and its all very messy and angsty but, that's just life.
Alternatively: Dave and John in the slowest love story about everybody ever. Like how I met your mother about angsty teens.

Stiles observes pausing mid-changing to glance at his best friend. It sounds like a statement, his voice flat. Still, Scott recognises that tone, recognises Stiles' uneasiness in his shifting stance, his flickering gaze. Recognises the way Stiles wets his lips and sucks them in to keep the words from spilling; an unexpected mesmerising display. Scott feels as if his vision is zooming in but he still manages to raise his brows accompanied by slightly widened eyes in response to Stiles' declaration. Or in response to how he cannot rip his gaze off that spit shiny mouth, he wouldn't know.

Summary
After their families are killed by supernatural entities, Stiles and Allison become a team of hunters, following the leads of any bizarre murders in an attempt to bring the families justice and peace as well as trying to find their own closure. Their trail eventually leads them to Beacon Hills where a series of bizarre animal attacks has the sheriff’s department baffled and the local werewolf pack struggling to protect their town. With Stiles and Allison’s arrival in Beacon Hills the animal attacks escalate. Allison and Stiles investigate the crime scenes and run across two members of the Hale pack doing the same, Derek and Laura, who have been concerned about the deaths in the town and the scrutiny they bring with it. The four agree to join forces along with other members of the Hale pack, Erica, Isaac, and Boyd, in order stop whatever is killing the townspeople.
