“Why, yes,” said the Sheriff, making a heroic effort to get on top of his own outrage, which was, by the way, in his humble opinion, perfectly reasonable. “Sure, I know him. He is your KIND OF FRIEND from Starbucks, who you and Scott SORT OF KNOW, who has come along tonight to watch you play. Am I getting this right, Stiles?”
“Yes he has, and yes you are,” said Stiles, with a certain refined savagery. “So now I have had TWO actual friends EVER, in my whole fucking life. Isn’t that fantastic?”
All this, plus an interesting old photo of Stiles' strange Great-Uncle Stan. Works as a stand-alone too. :)

Altaïr's heart suddenly leaps when he chats with him and subtly starts going mad for Malik, like all crazy insane status. He stealthily stalks him in halls, gets into Malik's personal space, even going as far as to dress up as a janitor or coworkers to be close to him. Derek looks at Laura’s frozen face. She’s is beautiful, smiling softly as the sunlight streams though her hair from behind but there is the deadness behind her eyes that Derek had seen every day in his own in the mirror. Only Stiles had been able to bring the light back to them and Laura had never had the time to find her own Stiles.
